Too long has the entertainment world been the dominant influence of our most precious commodity, our children. Too long have our children been fed violence, nudity, low moral character, sex, and anger. Our littles have been beaten down, made to feel insignificant, ignored, forgotten at worst, and at best targeted as a commodity to wealth.
Conscientious parents have had few options in helping their children navigate this reality. Either the content they encounter is juvenile, of poor quality, and void of any substance, or it is worldly filled, feeding the flesh, leaving the spirit forgotten. For some, faith-based families, churches, and other faith-based mediums offer nourishment, but the masses are not getting fed.
From my own heart, I grieve these lost children. Children are growing up with no direction, no options, not knowing or understanding the love of Jesus Christ. These littles are left to fend for themselves, unable to navigate or understand their own emotions, raised by parents who cannot understand or control their own feelings.
For over 30 years, the game industry has been drawing society into accepting their vile content as entertainment. Content that leaves people empty, seeking fleshly ways to fill the void.
I have witnessed these "empty" people firsthand. Their spirit suppressed, the light dimmed from their eyes. They are ravishingly feeding on fleshly meat, trying to fill a void that only Jesus, our Savior, can fill.
Man is flesh and spirit. The world seeks to feed the flesh and to ignore the spirit. TruPlay wants to make games that feed the spirit. Working at TruPlay allows me to give a generation a taste of what is GOOD.
For me, TruPlay’s call is found in these verses:
Galatians 6:9: Let us not become tired of doing good. At the right time, we will gather a crop if we don’t give up.
Romans 12:21: Don’t let evil overcome you. Overcome evil by doing good.
God called me to join this mission to put His good into the world. Are you someone God is calling? Join us.
